How we got here

A farmers’ market stall in 2022. Twelve thousand members now.

Mei grew up visiting tea farms in Taiwan with her family. When she started blending teas at the Hollywood Farmers Market in Portland, the question people kept asking wasn’t about flavour profiles or brew temperatures. It was: where does this actually come from?

So that became the whole point. Mei flies to Taiwan every year to sit with the growers she buys from. Jordan runs the workshop in Portland where every tin is weighed, blended, and sealed. And Kwame, who joined recently from Thrive Market, is making sure the thing doesn’t break as it scales.

We’re not trying to be the biggest tea company. We’re trying to be the one you trust.

Every tin is traceable to a family, a farm, and a season.

We work with small family farms across Taiwan, some of them fourth-generation. We pay above fair-trade rates, we pay quickly, and we buy the whole harvest, not just the showcase leaves. That’s how we get tea this good, and that’s how we keep getting it.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription myself?

Yes. Pause, skip, swap, or cancel from your account in about thirty seconds. No calls, no emails, no retention form asking why you’re leaving.

Where does your tea actually come from?

Small family farms across Taiwan, most of them in Alishan, Dong Ding, and Shan Lin Xi. Mei visits every year. The farm, the grower, and the harvest season are printed on every tin.

Do you ship outside the US?

We ship across the US and Canada. International shipping to the UK, EU, and Australia is coming in 2026. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you the day it opens.

Is this organic?

Most of our teas are grown to organic standards, but not all of our growers carry the paperwork. We tell you exactly which on each product page rather than hiding behind a blanket claim.
